We are saddened that one of our Rotary family members Raymond passed away at 7:30am on Sunday August 26. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to Cecilia and Raymond's family.
Raymond was born in Hong Kong. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and was very involved and dedicated in promoting education. He had special interest in the Poly Development Fund at Give2Asia which support the development of Poly and its students.
Raymond joined Rotary Club of Richmond seven years ago and immediately became very active on the Board particularly with the young Rotaractors. He was Rotaract advisor from 2002-2006 and also Public Relations Chair from 2006-2007.
Raymond never ceased to fulfill his duties as the club's liaison and mentor to our youth. He gained their respect and admiration which is testimony to his positive influence.
Raymond was presented with an award by the Rotaract Club in 2006 and also recognized as Paul Harris Fellow in 2007 for his contribution to the Richmond Club.
