Kurt Owins

Kurt Owins a former member of the Rotary Club of Richmond passed away after a brave battle with kidney disease.

"Kurt was invited to joined the Rotary Club of Richmond in 1985 and was an asset to the Club in many ways until several years ago when he retired from his vocation and later resigned from the Club. He maintained his contact with Rotary through the World Fellowship of Rotarian Gourmets. In the past few months he put up a valiant fight in the face of adversity as mentioned below.

Our condolences are extended to the Owins Family and we are indeed very grateful for the opportunity to have been able to share part of our lives with his, especially through Rotary which he and his dear wife Sylvia thoroughly enjoyed.

Kurt was gentle in many ways but strong in his resolve when it came to what he strongly believed in, since his heart, which finally gave out, was always in the right place!"
