Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

In 1993, members of Rotary Club of Richmond pledged to raise $500,000 towards making the dream of establishing a Hospice in Richmond a reality. On 30th September, 2005, Richmond’s first free standing community Hospice opened its doors on No. 4 Road. The Rotary Hospice, owned and operated by the Salvation Army, is a 10-bed, home-like facility, providing quality end-of-life care to residents of Richmond and Vancouver.
