On Wednesday October 29, the Rotary Club of Richmond sponsored a new Interact club at H.J. Cambie Secondary School in Richmond. Interact clubs are comprised of young people in high school who embrace the Rotary spirit to make a positive difference in our community.Over 50 students attended the event and have expressed an interest in being a part of the Interact club. The city of Richmond is fortunate to have three other interact clubs.
As Acting President Keith Tsukishima noted… “We sensed a a very high level of energy and enthusiasm from Kevin Li and the students who attended the Installation. The service projects yet to be planned and executed by these eager Interactors will add greatly to the lives of people locally and globally. We are encouraged and inspired by these students as they will certainly make good things happen. The 50 year legacy of Interact service is in good hands.”
