Come to celebrate the induction of Juan Burry by PDG Hans Doge. Juan is the Executive Director of the Rotary Hospice House. He was Executive Director at The Salvation Army Addictions & Rehabilitation Centre Director at The Salvation Army Community & Family Services.
District 5040 Interact Director Grace Tsang, District Interact Chair Jim Ling and Cambie School teacher Kevin Li will join us to discuss the proposed initiative of setting up a new Interact Club at Cambie Secondary. An exciting project we are looking forward to.
March 5 Highlights
Members enjoyed lunch at the Continental Seafood Restaurant on March 5 and shared ideas of future projects. Past President Barb updated us on the SOS Childrens Village Run project, Claudette shared her experience after returning from PETS and Lulu came out of some fundraising ideas. Keith also updated us on his current proposal to the District Foundation Chair about a District wide push up challenge in the fall.
Joint Club Bowling Fellowship
The Rotary Club of Steveston has invited us to go bowling with them on Monday March 24 at 7pm, at the Zone Bowling Centre by Silver City , Richmond. Cost is about $20 for 2 games. President Ken is planning to go and looking forward to have enough members to form a team or 2. Please contact Ken if you like to join this fun event.
