Rotary Leadership Institute Level one was held at the Squamish Railway Museum amongst the backdrop of the rocky faces of massive granite rocks and old time railway cars.  Facilitators PDG Chris Offer, PDG Penny Offer, Peter Clark and PDG Lynn Stroshin spent a day talking about enjoying Rotary and understanding some of the basics, such as Rotary structure, Foundation, Avenues of Service, Areas of Focus, Leadership and Ethics.

The Rotary Club of Richmond was very well represented. Congratulation to  Eva Sun, Suna Yee, Cindy Lau and James Kao.  RLI is a 3 part training course that is free to all our club members.  Call it orientation, or call it Professional Development, every member should make time to attend, because awareness of Rotary will open opportunities for service and new contacts, the very reasons you joined the club, to give back to the community.
