Our mission today was about discovery and awareness of Pathways Clubhouse in Richmond, one of 333 such facilities worldwide. Our host Dave Macdonald and his volunteers organized a barbeque luncheon, providing our members a great insight into the workings of mental wellness at Pathways. Rotarian Jason Davidson (Rotary E-Club of Lulu Island) provided the catering and the grilling. Volunteer Randall Walrond (RCMP) brought a contingent from the local detachment to co-host this event.
We enjoyed a lovely, sunny, warm day on the patio with Pathways members, staff and generous friends of Pathways, Tony and Nancy Yurkovich. Thanks to all the members and family who could attend today, President James, Kenny, Jade, Suna, Harry, Dean, Henry, Chris, Ibrahim, James Kao, Bill, Cindy, Keith and Becky, Philip and Cecilia, Tony and Nancy and their son-in-law Michael Priest. We were very impressed that people are working so diligently to help those with mental wellness challenges, find their way back into society.
