Forum for Young Canadians provides opportunity for 100 young Canadians to travel to Ottawa, visit Parliament and learn first hand how we are governed. The Rotary Club of Richmond sponsored Jason Pang, a grade 11 student from Richmond Secondary. He recounted in great detail and with great excitement, his experiences visiting parliament hill. There, they saw and met Members of Parliament, the Speaker of the House and learned what it takes to chair Parliamentarians. Jason participated in forming a "mock" political party, form a platform and make a presentation to the other teams. He related how much he learned from his trip and expressed his gratitude for the sponsorship. Share his adventure on his report ....
