Four members of the Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra greeted guests of our 2018 Rotary Club of Richmond Christmas Dinner with popular classical pieces. President Dean welcomed everyone in his usual cheerful and enthusiastic spirit, followed with National Anthem by Gilles Bouchard and Invocation by Drew Antrobus. The Hilton provided a very nice buffet for 37 attendees, featuring succulent chicken and salmon.
We were very pleased to see so many guests and visitors, which made for enthusiastic participants in our game activities. The ever popular gift exchange was accented by adding the ability to "steal" from another guest. These shenanigans made for some lively moments, much laughter and of course, the victims could then steal from somebody else.
To all those who missed our Christmas Dinner, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Unfortunately, you also missed out on the sense of belonging to our event, the camaraderie we shared, a very nice dinner, your Christmas Gift, some laughs and your valued friendship.
