Visitor: Skip Triplett, Skip was a member of our club for a number of years, now lived in Victoria, he was president and CEO of Kwantlen Polytechnic University. It is great to see him.
MP Kenny said hi to everyone and wish one safe and well. Following up on last week discussion, Jim Ling provided more detail on COVID-19 test kit. Samantha invited us to join the Burnaby Club Zoom meeting on Friday April 3 noon. Speaker: Low Entropy-Vanessa Wideski. Dean, Keith, Becky, Cindy and Angelo attended their meeting.
Everyone gave their update, Dean showed a video of 2021 Rotary Convention in Taiwan, give us something to look forward to. President Henry suggested we can look into our community and help people in need. Dave suggested dial 211 to connect to people in need, he also stretch the importance of wearing our Rotary pin at the meeting, otherwise we will be fined.
It has been a productive meeting, Jimmy continues his good work in finding interesting speakers for our meeting. Stay tuned.
