A graduate of Taiwan National Chengchi University, Daphne Wu (吳麗珍) had spent time working in the “High Tech” industry for 7 years before starting her career in Financial Services sector. Having been working at Nan Shan Life Insurance Company since 1992 in Taiwan, Daphne joined Vance Financial Group when she immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 2000. Armed with extensive financial experience, Daphne is specializing in Wealth Creation, Risk Management, Retirement Planning and Tax Management. She is also providing ongoing training and management to a dedicated team of agents that she has developed over the past few years.
Association & Community Involvement
Daphne has been actively engaging in volunteer services as well. She was the 13th (2006~2007) President of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Chinese Family Association. She joined Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in B.C. in 2001 and with tireless dedication for years, she was elected as the 17th (2008~2009) President. She was appointed as Chief Supervisor of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce of North America (TCCNA) and Vice Chief Supervisor of World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (WTCC) from 2017 ~ 2018.
She is also the Advisor of World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce and the Chief Treasurer of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce of North America. Moreover, with great honor, Daphne was appointed by the President Ma in 2012~2014 as the Commissioner of Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission Republic of China (Taiwan); then reappointed by the President Tsai in 2015 till December 31st, 2017.
In addition, she has been involved in “Buddha Without Borders Program” in Nepal and India from 2017 to 2019 which includes volunteer for Free Clinic and donation to poverty people.
