Seven Richmond Club members were among the 800 delegates at the Rotary Peace Conference on Saturday. This is the first of the six presidential peacebuilding conferences hosted by RI President Ian H.S. Riseley. The purpose of the conferences is to explore the connection between peace and Rotary’s five other areas of focus plus environmental sustainability.
Topics included food waste, positive peace, impact of trees in our lives, biodiversity, etc. We all came home inspired and will start making changes in our daily life. Some short videos of the sessions will be posted in the next couple of weeks at the Peace conference website...
