Annual Chinese New Year Gala raises about $20,000 each year for different beneficiaries such as the Richmond Hospital Foundation, St. John Ambulance AED units installed in Skytrain, Richmond Boys & Girls Club, Rotary Hospice, SOS Children's Village BC for foster children, Pathways Clubhouse Richmond for mental wellness, Gateway Kids Summer Camp, Vocational training for Mexico youth, Safe Start Feed-U-Cate and Scholarships.

Raised over $500,000 towards building a 10-bed Rotary Hospice in Richmond and ongoing support upgrade of the facility.
